Mill Creek Academy is a one of a kind preschool located in Nolensville, TN. We believe that students learn and retain information best through play. That is why Mill Creek Academy uses the highly rated High Scope Curriculum that lets students learn at their own pace through play with guidance from the teacher.
Mill Creek Academy prides itself in being able to teach children through hands-on learning experiences while preparing them for Kindergarten. Mill Creek Academy also offers a Social Curriculum, Music, Physical Education, Art, and Science enrichment monthly. We currently offer a program for 2, 3 and 4 year olds taught by a certified early childhood educator.

Curriculum

Mill Creek Academy is a child-centered preschool that focuses on learning through play. Our program takes into account the needs of the WHOLE child (physical, social, emotional, language, and cognitive). This prepares the child not only for school, but all areas of life.
Mill Creek Academy will use the curriculum guide from the HIGH SCOPE CURRICULUM, Handwriting Without Tears, and a Social Curriculum called "Social Thinking". We believe in the importance of Science enrichment, sensory play, and art.
Our curriculum focuses on each individual child. Children are given the opportunity to learn at their own pace with the support of teachers. The classroom is center-based and the curriculum/theme is integrateed throughout the room and lessons. The following learning centers are provided at developmentally appropriate levels:

Music
Music is directed by Jake Johnson. The creator of “Alpha Bets You’ll Learn Your Letters,” a system designed to help kids develop early reading skills. Jake brings a FUN and interactive learning experience to children through music.
PE
PE is brought to us by LPG Sports Academy. The fun and energetic coaches bring in sports and games of all kinds. They promote teamwork and building confidence while developing those large motor skills!

Due in September
Registration Fee:
A non-refundable registration fee of $125 is due at the time of your child’s submitted application. This fee is due per child per year. This will hold your child’s spot on the waiting list. If there is an opening and your child is accepted into the program, one month’s tuition is due to hold your child’s spot. This money will be held and applied to your child’s May tuition.
